TRNC President Ersin Tatar Travels to Istanbul for 50th Anniversary Celebrations
TRNC President Ersin Tatar departed for Istanbul this morning to participate in events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.
During his two-day visit, President Tatar will attend a reception organized by the Istanbul branch of the Turkish Cypriot Cultural Association, under the auspices of the TRNC Consulate General in Istanbul.
In addition, President Tatar will take part in the International Cyprus Symposium at Istanbul University, which marks the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation. He is scheduled to deliver a speech titled “The Impact of Turkish Cypriots: The Cyprus Peace Operation” at Istanbul Topkapi University.
The president is expected to return to Northern Cyprus tomorrow evening.
