President of Turkey meets with the Head of the TRNC
The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, held a meeting with the leader of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar.
As reported by the press service of the Turkish leader, the meeting took place over the weekend in the presidential office at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul. The event was held in a closed-door session, excluding the press.
It is noted that the negotiations between the two leaders were also attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, Cevdet Yılmaz, and the Prime Minister of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar.
Details of the meeting between the leaders of the two states are not disclosed.
