Arson Behind Fatal Fire in Haspolat: Three Arrested
Police have disclosed details about the deadly fire that occurred yesterday in Haspolat, resulting in one death and another person suffering serious injuries. The fire was deliberately started, and three suspects have been arrested.
The fire broke out early in the morning in the stairwell of an apartment building in Haspolat. According to the investigation, two young men, aged 20 and 25, allegedly entered the apartment and set it on fire using flammable materials.
The police press office confirmed that both suspects have been detained. Additionally, a 42-year-old man, who is believed to be involved in the crime, has also been arrested.
The fire claimed the life of 24-year-old Derrick Bamfo Ampoma, a resident of the apartment, while his neighbor, Jonathan Maukle Adjabang, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
