Union of Civil Servants of Cyprus and Turkey to go on strike
The Union of Civil Servants of Cyprus and Turkey (KTAMS) will hold a full-day strike tomorrow at the Department of the Social Insurance Fund.
The Ministry of Labour has not taken any positive steps against attempts to amend the Reserve Fund Law.
"Despite our repeated appeals to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to amend the Social Insurance Fund Law and ensure its formation in accordance with the principle of democratic participation, our union will hold a full-day strike at the Social Insurance Fund office tomorrow due to the lack of positive steps on this issue," KTAMS statement said.
KTAMS President Gyven Bengihan noted that a press statement will be made tomorrow at 10:00.
