A drunken female driver overturned her car in Nicosia
A major accident occurred in Nicosia due to the fault of an intoxicated driver. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
According to the police press service, the accident happened yesterday evening in the Kermia area. 37-year-old Selda Mullahasan was driving the car under the influence of alcohol, lost control, and the car began to swerve from side to side. As a result, the car collided with two parked cars and overturned onto its roof.
As a result of the accident, the female driver of the overturned car was injured. She was taken to Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital and arrested after treatment.
The police are investigating the causes of the accident.
