Karşıyaka District Left Without Water Due to Utility Failure
Another utility failure has occurred in Northern Cyprus, resulting in a disruption of water supply to the Karşıyaka district. The issue stemmed from damage to the water pipeline.
According to Kibris Postasi, water supply has been halted in the vicinity of Karşıyaka's nightclubs, Harmony Villas, Arykli, and Olympus due to problems in the water supply system.
The Lapta - Alsancak - Çamlıbel Municipality announced via social media that repairs are expected to be completed by tomorrow morning, allowing water to flow back into residents' homes.
Local residents are advised to take necessary precautions and use water sparingly.
Earlier this month, a malfunction at the Geçitköy pumping station resulted in a multi-day water outage across Northern Cyprus.
