423 More Foreigners Granted Permission to Purchase Property in the TRNC
The Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has granted permission for 423 additional foreign citizens to acquire property. The decision was published in the "Official Gazette."
According to the document, the Council of Ministers, in line with Law No. 52/2008 "On the Acquisition of Immovable Property and Long-term Lease (Foreigners)," has issued permits for a total of 423 foreign citizens to acquire immovable property.
This permission is granted on the condition that the property being acquired is free of any encumbrances.
It is noteworthy that, once again, the document does not specify the nationalities of the foreign citizens who received permission to purchase property in Northern Cyprus. In previous similar documents, it was usually mentioned how many of them were Turkish citizens and how many were citizens of other countries.
As a reminder, on August 8, similar permission was granted to 303 foreign citizens.
