Serious Accident in Lefkoşa: Bus Went Off the Road, Injuries Reported

On Friday afternoon in Lefkoşa, a serious traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries to two people.
The accident took place around 14:20 on the Famagusta – Lefkoşa road. According to preliminary police data, the cause of the incident was driver inattention.
It is reported that the bus driver lost control, first crashing into a divider, then continuing along an uncontrolled trajectory, crossing a roundabout, hitting a stone wall on the left side of the road, and finally ending up in a field about six meters deep, where the vehicle came to rest on its wheels.
As a result of the fall, the bus driver and one passenger were injured. Both were promptly taken to the hospital. The circumstances of the accident are being clarified.
