Bomb joke delays Turkish Airlines flight

An incident occurred on board a Turkish Airlines flight preparing to depart from Istanbul to Batman, temporarily halting the flight. According to police, one of the passengers jokingly claimed that there was a bomb on the plane.
The crew immediately informed the pilot, after which the aircraft was stopped on the runway, and police and airport security were called on board. The passenger who made the dangerous joke was escorted out of the cabin and detained for questioning.
After a thorough inspection of the aircraft, no explosives or other threats were found. The flight resumed with a delay. Turkish Airlines representatives emphasized that any statements about bombs, even in jest, are treated as serious violations of aviation security and carry criminal liability.
The police continue their investigation, and the man may face charges for making a false threat and causing panic on board.
