Ambulance collided with four cars on Lapta - Alsancak road: one injured
An accident involving an ambulance and four cars occurred on the Lapta - Alsancak highway. One person was injured in the accident.
The accident happened yesterday morning between the 1st and 2nd kilometers of the main Lapta - Alsancak road, on Karaoglanoglu Street.
According to the police press service, 41-year-old ambulance driver Suleyman Tosun was driving east with flashing lights on and, while crossing the intersection on a red traffic light signal, collided with the right front part of the car driven by 38-year-old Yasemin Olgar.
The impact caused the car to hit a third vehicle driven by 48-year-old Natalya Movchan. It, in turn, hit the car behind it driven by 40-year-old Nadir Timuchin.
At the same time, the ambulance also swerved, after which it collided with another car driven by 36-year-old Yasir Mehud.
Yasemin Olgar, who was injured in the accident, was taken to the Akcicek Hospital in Kyrenia and discharged after treatment.
