The observation platforms in Cyclos have been transferred to the Municipality of Kyrenia for 10 years
The observation platforms in Cyclos, which belonged to the Department of Roads, have been transferred for use and management to the Municipality of Kyrenia for a period of 10 years. The protocol for the arrangement of public spaces was signed by the Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı and the Mayor of Kyrenia, Murat Şenkul.
According to the signed document, the observation terraces will be used for recreational areas, green spaces, kiosks, parking areas, and, if necessary, for the construction of access roads or intersections to ease traffic flow.
The municipality will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the observation terraces. However, the city authorities must obtain approval from the Department of Roads before constructing any access roads or intersections.
- "We have added a beautiful new area to our cooperation with local authorities. I am sure that the Municipality of Kyrenia and Mayor Murat Şenkul will make good use of this opportunity," said the Minister.
