TRNC Council of Ministers Revokes Deportation Orders for 12 Individuals
The TRNC Council of Ministers has canceled deportation and/or entry ban orders for 12 individuals. This brings the total number of pardoned individuals over the past three weeks to 42.
According to a document published in the “Official Gazette,” the decision was made to preserve family unity, as the families of the individuals in question reside in the TRNC. To remain in the country, the pardoned individuals will be required to pay fines for visa overstay.
It's worth noting that last week, three people were allowed to re-enter the country on the condition that they pay fines resulting from their visa violations. Earlier, on September 5, the Council of Ministers revoked deportation orders for 27 individuals. As a result, over the last two weeks, deportation orders for a total of 42 people have been canceled.
