Temperatures to Hit 31°C: Weather Forecast for Northern Cyprus on May 7
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, a high-pressure system combined with hot, humid air in the upper atmosphere will influence the weather across Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, May 7.
The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with no expected rainfall.
Temperatures will remain within seasonal norms, ranging between 23°C and 31°C in most areas. Winds are expected to blow moderately from the southwest.
Meteorologists have issued two alerts for the region, warning of an increased risk of wildfires due to dry conditions.
The UV index is at a moderate level.

• Northern Coast:
Girne – 25°C, Lapta – 23°C, Akdeniz – 25°C, Alevkaya – 25°C, Esentepe – 23°C
• Western Coast:
Lefke – 26°C, Güzelyurt – 29°C
• Central Region:
Lefkoşa (Nicosia) – 31°C, Ercan – 31°C
• Eastern Coast:
Gazimağusa – 26°C, İskele – 29°C
• Karpaz Peninsula:
Yenierenköy – 24°C
