Temperatures Rising: Northern Cyprus Faces Extremely Hot Weather on June 12
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, Northern Cyprus will continue to experience low pressure and hot, humid air on Wednesday, June 12. Expect clear, very hot, and cloudless weather with no precipitation.
Temperatures will soar 5-7°C above the seasonal average, with highs reaching up to 41°C. The hottest areas will be Güzelyurt, Nicosia, and Ercan.
Moderate southwesterly winds are expected, with no storms in the forecast.
Two weather warnings are in effect: a very high risk of natural fires and extremely high ultraviolet radiation levels.
It's advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without proper precautions.
