Air Temperature to Rise to 41°C: Weather in TRNC for July 18

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Thursday, July 18, the region will experience low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists forecast clear, slightly cloudy weather with no precipitation.

The air temperature will rise 2-4°C above average climatic norms. The hottest weather is expected in Nicosia and Geçitkale, where temperatures may reach up to 41°C. In Lapta and Esentepe, temperatures will be around 32-33°C.

The wind will be moderate and southwesterly. No storms are expected today.

Two meteorological warnings remain in effect in Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires has been raised to very high, and the level of ultraviolet radiation is also very high.

It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
