Three Injured in Serious Accident in Güzelyurt
Three people were injured in a serious accident in Güzelyurt, including Hasan Sapsızoğlu, President of the TRNC Gymnastics Federation.
According to the police, the accident occurred yesterday evening around 7:00 PM on Ramiz Turan Street. A vehicle crashed into the rear of a car driven by Hasan Sapsızoğlu. The Gymnastics Federation President had slowed down slightly to turn onto a dirt road just before the collision.
The drivers of both vehicles and a 46-year-old passenger from one of the cars were injured. All the injured individuals were taken to Cengiz Topel Hospital's emergency department for medical evaluation.
The investigation is ongoing.
