The TRNC announced a 150 million lira financial support package for businesses and the agricultural sector
In Northern Cyprus, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced on 19 November the launch of a 150 million Turkish lira financial support program within the 2025 initiatives. The package was prepared by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Investment Development Agency (YAGA) with the support of the Republic of Turkey.
The funds are allocated as follows: 40 million for industry, 40 million for entrepreneurship, 40 million for tourism, and 30 million for agriculture.
According to the government, support will be available for micro-enterprises as well as medium and large companies. In agriculture, the package covers both livestock and crop production. In tourism — existing and newly established small hotels. In entrepreneurship, the support targets innovative projects, including information technologies and exports.
The application period will be announced soon. The progress of the program can be monitored through the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Investment Development Agency under the Prime Minister’s Office.
The program slogan: “Support to producers, strength to investments, hope for the future!”.
