A delegation from the National Defense Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey visited the TRNC
Hulusi Akar, the Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, along with his accompanying delegation, is on an official visit to the TRNC. The guests from Turkey arrived in Northern Cyprus yesterday to establish working contacts.
Zorlu Töre, the President of the Assembly of the TRNC, together with members of the commission, conducted an inspection in Varosha.
The visit also included the participation of Major General Osman Aytaç, the Commander of the Security Forces, Yasemin Öztürk, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal, Political Affairs, and International Relations, and Metin Feyzioğlu, the Ambassador of Turkey to Nicosia.
During the visit to Varosha, Hulusi Akar received information about the latest developments in the region and interacted with citizens. The Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey also wished success to the residents of the TRNC and the Turkish Armed Forces in carrying out their duties.
It is expected that today the delegation of guests from Turkey will meet with state and government officials.
