Turkcell discussed the transition to 5G with the Minister of Finance of Northern Cyprus
On September 11, 2025, the Minister of Finance of Northern Cyprus, Dr. Özdemir Berova, received a Turkcell delegation to discuss the development of telecommunications and the transition to 5G. The meeting took place in the minister’s office; the delegation included representatives from the group and the local branch, including Ali Taha Koç, Murat Küçüközdemir, Emrah Doğan, Tolga Kılıç, and Muhammed Fehim Paluluoğlu.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of the sector, plans for 5G implementation, and related technological investments. According to Dr. Berova, the development of telecommunications and investments in digital infrastructure are important for the country’s economy and can improve the quality of life for the population.
