Turkey to Launch 5G on April 1
Only a few days remain until the official launch of 5G technology in Turkey. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the transition to the next generation of communication will begin on April 1, 2026.
According to the minister, the implementation of 5G will provide a significant increase in internet speeds. Users will be able to play online without lag, data transfer will accelerate, and remote access capabilities will expand substantially. The new technology will also pave the way for advancements in telemedicine, including remote surgeries.
Uraloğlu emphasized that the implementation process focuses on utilizing national and domestic solutions. He stated that the launch of 5G will enable the country to reach a new level of digital development and provide high-speed connectivity for citizens and industry.
