Two Injured in Bicycle Accident on Northern Cyprus Highway
A collision on the Akdogan - Vadili highway has left two people injured while riding a single bicycle. Both victims were rushed to the hospital.
According to the police press office, a 41-year-old driver struck a bicycle carrying two people. After the car came to a stop on the side of the road, another vehicle traveling in the same direction crashed into it.
The injured include a 24-year-old man who was riding the bicycle and his 22-year-old passenger, who was sitting on the front frame. Both were taken to the state hospital in Famagusta for treatment.
The driver is currently being treated in the intensive care unit for a brain hemorrhage, while the passenger is in the emergency department.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
