At the intersection of St. Hillarion, a donkey was fatally hit.
On the Nicosia - Kyrenia highway, a stray donkey was killed under the wheels of a car. The car hit the wandering animal at the turn to Saint Illarion Castle.
According to the police press office, the fatal accident occurred this morning around 10:00. The driver of the car, Usman Ali, was heading towards Kyrenia, heading to Saint Illarion Castle. Approaching the turn to the castle, he hit a stray donkey.
As a result of the accident, the stray animal died at the scene. There is no information about other casualties as a result of the accident.
The police investigation into the accident is ongoing.
