“Birds of Cyprus” Art Exhibition Opens at Ercan Airport
An art exhibition titled “Birds of Cyprus” has opened at Ercan Airport, showcasing the creative work of students from the Turkish Maarif College in Kyrenia.
According to TT Airport Operations, the exhibition features paintings by students aged 14 to 17. The artworks depict birds of Cyprus and were created using a variety of techniques during outdoor nature trips organized by the Çatalköy Development and Culture Association (ÇADER). These excursions aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for nature among students in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The exhibition is located in the departures lounge of Ercan Airport and is accessible to passengers after passing through passport control. In addition to the artwork, visitors will find accompanying photographs and bilingual descriptions in Turkish and English.
The exhibition was organized by ÇADER as part of the “Nature Project,” which is funded by the VGP Foundation and managed by NABU International.
