Blood Donation Campaign at Ercan Airport
Ercan Airport, in partnership with the Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent, is organizing a blood donation campaign with the slogan "Every Drop of Blood Saves a Life."
According to a statement from T&T Airport Management, the campaign will run on July 11th and 12th, from 10:00 to 17:00, located in the passenger departure area and at the Taşyapı construction site section.
The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness about the critical need for blood donations in the country. All concerned citizens are encouraged to participate.
To donate blood, individuals must be healthy, aged between 18 and 65 years (men can donate every 3 months, women every 4 months), weigh over 50 kg, have not undergone surgery in the past year, and not have tattoos, piercings, or acupuncture. They should also be free from infectious diseases like Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, syphilis, HIV, etc. Alcohol consumption is prohibited 18-20 hours before donation.
The organizers extend their gratitude to all employees of T&T, Taşyap, and Ercan Airport. As well as civil aviation personnel, institutions, organizations, airlines, processing services, customs, healthcare providers, police, and all citizens who respond to the call and participate in this blood donation campaign.
