In Alsancak, a BMW burned to ashes in the middle of the road
A fire broke out in Alsancak this afternoon: a BMW caught fire right in the middle of the road. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The car caught fire around noon on the approach to Karanoğlu. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started from the engine and quickly engulfed the entire vehicle.
Video footage from the scene shows firefighters extinguishing the blazing car. Police officers are seen in the vicinity. White smoke from the burning car covers the road, limiting visibility.
As a result of the incident, the car was completely burned down. Based on the footage from the fire scene, the vehicle is beyond repair.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene managed to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to other vehicles.
It is known that there were no people in the car at the time of the fire: no one was injured as a result of the incident.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire may have been a technical malfunction.
