In Alsancak, a drunken man set fire to his car due to "unfair treatment."
In Alsancak, the police arrested a man who set fire to his own car. The owner of the car simply felt that he was being treated unfairly.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon, around 15:45, on the seaside street of Sokollu in Alsancak. The 50-year-old man, in a state of severe alcohol intoxication, set fire to his sedan using matches. It is noted that the man's blood alcohol level exceeded the permissible norm by 7 times.
The intoxicated citizen informed the arriving police officers that he set fire to his car because he was "treated unfairly."
The flaming car was extinguished by firefighters who arrived at the scene. The car was completely destroyed by the fire and is not subject to restoration.
The arsonist has been arrested, and the police investigation continues.
