Man Killed in Accident on Nicosia's Northern Ring Road
A fatal accident occurred in Northern Cyprus last night, resulting in the death of a 41-year-old man.
According to the police press office, the accident happened around 1:30 AM on the Northern Ring Road of Nicosia. Çelik Altıner, a 41-year-old resident of Dikmen, lost control of his car while approaching the industrial roundabout.
The vehicle veered off the road, first crashing into the median barrier, then hitting a road sign, and finally colliding with a concrete wall.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The police are continuing to investigate the accident.
