Veterinarians in Northern Cyprus are fighting to save a fox that was severely injured in a road accident. The animal is in critical condition.
The incident was reported on social media by staff at the Taşkent Nature Park. According to their statement, the fox was rushed to the wildlife hospital after being hit by a car and suffering serious injuries.
The accident is believed to have happened around 3:00 AM. A preliminary examination revealed that the fox had sustained a head injury, and its condition remains critical.
Wildlife conservationists praised the individual who rescued the injured fox and brought it to the wildlife hospital, rather than leaving it to suffer on the roadside.
