In Camlıbel, Northern Cyprus, three women were detained for illegal aesthetic procedures
During an inspection on November 20–21, 2025, the police in Northern Cyprus detained three women in Camlıbel, suspected of carrying out illegal aesthetic procedures.
The inspection took place in a building under the responsibility of F.A. (22). As a result of the police check, it was established that S.A. (33) and A.K. (41) do not have registration or diplomas with the Cyprus Turkish Medical Association; however, they used medical materials and received clients for botox and filler injections.
The inspection materials note that the procedures were carried out without the necessary legal authorization. An investigation has been initiated in this regard; details of the investigative actions are not being disclosed.
Residents in Northern Cyprus are advised to take into account that the authorities are conducting checks on cases of illegal medical activity. The investigation in the case is ongoing.
