Two Hunting Offenders Fined in Dipkarpaz and Kaleburnu, Northern Cyprus
Police and hunting inspectors detained two individuals for illegal hunting in Dipkarpaz and Kaleburnu, Northern Cyprus, on September 28, 2025, according to the Police Press Office.
The checks were carried out as part of the second hunting season and were organized by the police together with hunting inspectors across the country.
In Dipkarpaz, H.T. (41) was arrested for hunting in a prohibited zone. In Kaleburnu, M.A. (75) was caught illegally hunting from a vehicle.
Both offenders received administrative fines. The Police Press Office stated that investigations are ongoing.
