Three People, Including a Child, Injured in a Car Accident in Northern Cyprus
Three people were injured in a car accident in Northern Cyprus, including a child.
According to the police press service, the accident occurred the previous day at around 14:30 on the old Guzelyurt-Lefke road. Near the village of Gaziveren, 50-year-old driver Irfan Aydin lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a mound on the right side of the road. The car then continued moving and collided with an electric pole off the roadside.
The driver, as well as passengers 21-year-old Zelal Aydin and one-year-old Irfan Can Aydin, were injured in the accident. All the injured have been taken under medical observation at Cengiz Topel Hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
