Another fatal traffic accident occurred in Northern Cyprus. In the crash on the main road from Iskele to Famagusta, a 39-year-old woman lost her life.
The accident happened early Monday morning. 39-year-old Zahra Godrati was driving towards Famagusta. About 500 meters from the Salamis-Circle intersection, approaching Pasham Market, the woman lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the car veered to the left side of the road, collided with a tree, and overturned onto its right side.
According to the police press service, as a result of the accident, the car's driver passed away at the scene.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
