Second-Hand Stalls to Open in Famagusta to Support Vulnerable Groups
The Women’s Organization of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) in Famagusta has launched an initiative to set up second-hand stalls across the city. These stalls, offering gently used items, aim to provide affordable options for low-income residents.
According to Mine Karaka, President of CTP’s Women’s Organization in Famagusta, all proceeds from these stalls will be directed toward assisting vulnerable social groups.
"Our goal is to extend support to many women, children, and elderly individuals who should receive state assistance but are, unfortunately, forced to live under challenging circumstances," stated Karaka.
The organization also announced plans to regularly engage with the community at these second-hand stalls, which will be open during the traditional Thursday market each month.
