In Famagusta, the competition for the most beautiful balcony and garden is drawing to a close

The Eastern Mediterranean University's Center for Social Awareness and the Famagusta Municipality are organizing a contest to find the most stunning balcony and garden.

Running from May 13 to May 30, the competition's theme is "Beauty in Our Gardens and Balconies Bringing Smiles Around Us."

According to the organizers, the aim of the contest is to raise ecological awareness and promote the enhancement of green spaces in residential areas.

The winners will be chosen by a jury comprising members from the university's architecture faculty, interior architecture department, pedagogical faculty, art education department, communication faculty, visual arts department, and visual communication design department. The announcement of the winners will take place on June 5th, coinciding with World Environment Day.

Winners will be honored by the Famagusta Municipality during a special ceremony. Those interested in participating can still submit 3-4 photos of their balcony or garden, taken from various angles, to the email address [email protected].
