The “Pasha Group Girne Yarı Maratonu 2025” took place in Girne
The sixth “Pasha Group Girne Yarı Maratonu 2025” was held in Girne, organized in cooperation with the Girne Municipality and the Northern Cyprus Athletics Federation. The event took place along the city’s seaside promenade and aimed to support the Girne fire department.
The races were held in four categories: kids’ race (1 km, ages 6–12), public race (3 km), 10 km, and half marathon at 21 km. The total prize fund amounted to 435 thousand Turkish lira, distributed among winners of general and age categories.
Hundreds of residents and visitors of the city participated in the event. The President of Northern Cyprus, Tufan Erhürman, joined the 3-km run together with his wife Nilgün Bektaş Erhürman and their sons.
Children enjoyed play zones, mascot shows, and gift distribution. All participants were offered free drinks, food, and souvenirs.
