In Girne, a drunk driver crashed into a stone wall: two injured

On the evening of November 22, a serious traffic accident occurred in Girne. According to the police, the 34-year-old driver of the vehicle with registration number HA 10 YKU was heavily intoxicated — 148 mg of alcohol.
After losing control, the car left the road, crashed into a stone wall on the sidewalk, then overturned due to the impact and came to rest on its roof in the left lane. The driver and his 41-year-old female passenger were injured in the accident. Both were taken to Dr. Akçiçek Hospital in Girne, where they received medical assistance and were later released.
The driver was arrested for drunk driving and causing a dangerous situation.
The police continue the investigation.
