In the State Hospital Burhan Nalbantoglu in Nicosia, the cardiovascular surgery department has reopened after renovation
The Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, and the Minister of Health, Hakan Dincyurek, attended the reopening ceremony of the refurbished cardiovascular surgery department at the State Hospital Burhan Nalbantoglu in Nicosia.
The event was also attended by the Chief Physician of the State Hospital Burhan Nalbantoglu, Adil Oziylkan, the project engineer Timur Seyidoglu, investor Oguz Alp Tan, as well as hospital staff and distinguished guests.
Health Minister Hakan Dincyurek recalled that this service was established at the initiative of Ramadan Kamiloglu, one of the former chief physicians. He mentioned that in 2024, thanks to the contributions from investor Oguz Alp Tan, the outdated department underwent renovations, acquiring a modern appearance.
According to the project manager, 21 rooms of the department and all corridors were renovated as part of the undertaken works.
Prime Minister Ersin Tatar emphasized that the contributions of businessmen bring benefits to the state and the country. He expressed satisfaction with the growing contributions of businessmen in the fields of education and healthcare every day.
The Prime Minister also added that in the coming days, steps will be taken to build a hospital in Güzelyurt and open medical centers in various regions such as Alsancak, Degirmenlik, Maras, and Pamuklu. New investments will continue under the protocol signed with the Republic of Turkey.
