Two-hour power outage planned in İskele on September 1
Kıb‑Tek (Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority) announced that on Monday, September 1, due to medium-voltage network maintenance, a power outage will be conducted in the districts of İskele, Ötüken, Aygün, and Kuzucuk. According to the authority, work will start around 10:00 and continue until approximately 12:00.
In the Kıb‑Tek statement, it is noted that electricity supply may be restored earlier or later than the indicated hours depending on the progress of the maintenance work. Residents and organizations are advised to treat the network as if power could appear at any moment, follow safety precautions, and stay away from work on the lines.
Practical tips for residents: charge mobile devices and power banks in advance, disconnect and, if possible, unplug sensitive household appliances, and, if possible, postpone energy-dependent tasks planned for the morning. For inquiries or emergencies, Kıb‑Tek asks to contact its support service.
