During an operation "Drug free Homeland", 11 people were arrested in three regions of the TRNC
A total of 11 people were arrested as part of Operation Drug-Free Homeland, carried out by the Anti-Narcotics and Smuggling Unit in Nicosia, Famagusta and Kyrenia.
According to the police press service, as part of the operation that took place on November 13-14 in three districts, a total of 460 grams of jute, 400 grams of a synthetic type of cannabinoids, about 20 grams of heroin, as well as 25 thousand liras, 240 pounds sterling, 50 euros and $50 cash were discovered . Presumably, the money came from drug sales.
The police also seized sensitive scales suspected of containing drug residues as evidence.
A total of 11 people were detained as part of the operation: 8 men aged 20 to 32 years, and three girls aged 25, 27 and 28 years.
