Around 1,200 Homes in Kyrenia to be Connected to Sewer System
Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul has outlined a project to upgrade the city's sewer infrastructure. Once completed, approximately 1,200 homes and public facilities will be connected to the sewer system.
“We will begin connecting the remaining areas of Kervansaray and Doğanköy to the sewer system,” the mayor announced on social media.
According to the mayor, the project, which started last month, will extend the sewer line to the entrance of Karaoğlanoğlu.
As part of the plan, the area between the "Ship" Hotel and the "Zeytinlik" social housing is expected to be connected to the sewer system within 1-2 months.
"Upon completion, around 1,200 homes, the Military Hospital, and the New State Hospital of Kyrenia will be connected to the sewer system," the mayor added.
