An exhibition dedicated to Children's Day opened in Kyrenia
Preparations for the celebration of National Sovereignty and Children's Day continue in Northern Cyprus. Today, an exhibition dedicated to the holiday opened in Kyrenia.
The exhibition, titled “Children's Protection Day Ceremonies on April 23 in the Era of Atatürk,” is organized by the Akkule Service Association (Akkule Hizmet Derneği).
According to the association, the exhibition will take place at the Art Gallery of the Kyrenia Municipality. The opening of the exhibition took place today at 10:30 a.m. The exhibition will be open to visitors on April 17, 18, 19, 22, 24, and 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
National Sovereignty and Children's Day (Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı) is celebrated in Turkey and in Northern Cyprus on April 23. In honor of the holiday, solemn ceremonies and festive events are traditionally held in schools and various districts in Northern Cyprus on this day.
