Scrap Metal Trailers in Kyrenia to Be Converted into Green Waste Collection Points
The city of Kyrenia is taking steps to turn old scrap metal trailers into collection points for green waste.
Over the next year, the number of these collection points is expected to grow to 20.
Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul shared this initiative on his social media account, explaining the city's plans.
- "We are starting to recycle decommissioned trailers, repurposing them to serve as green waste collection points in areas where they are needed most. Each collection point will be monitored by cameras to ensure they are used for their intended purpose. Our goal is to make Kyrenia cleaner and more organized," Şenkul stated.
