Kyrenia Completes First Multi-Story Parking Garage Project

The municipality of Kyrenia has completed its first multi-story parking garage project. Mayor Murat Shenkul shared the news on social media.

According to the project details, a piece of land owned by the municipality in the Keravnos area, currently used as a parking lot for 40 cars and generating no revenue, will be transformed into a multi-story parking garage with a capacity of 220 cars.

• Once the legal procedures are finalized and the contract is signed, the municipality of Kyrenia will receive a monthly income of approximately 270,000 Turkish lira (the contract is in foreign currency and includes increases every 5 years), - the mayor announced.

In addition to the contract, the municipality will receive a deposit of about 11.5 million Turkish lira.

• On one hand, this project makes a significant contribution to solving the parking problem in our region. On the other hand, it will provide considerable benefits both now and in the future for our municipality, - added the mayor.

Further details about the multi-story parking garage will be released once the official procedures are completed and the contract is signed.
