Lapta and Esentepe - 30°C, Nicosia and Ercan - 36°C: Weather in Northern Cyprus on July 5

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, low pressure and hot, humid air will continue to affect the region on Friday, July 5. Meteorologists forecast clear to slightly cloudy skies.

The air temperature remains within seasonal norms. The hottest weather today is expected in Nicosia and Ercan, reaching up to 36°C, while the coolest temperatures will be in Lapta and Esentepe at 30°C.

Winds will be southwesterly and moderate in strength. No storms are expected today.

Three weather warnings are currently in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of natural fires has been lowered to high. The ultraviolet (UV) radiation level remains very high.

It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.

Additionally, dust from North Africa remains in the atmosphere and will linger until noon on Saturday, July 6.
