The second phase of sidewalk works on Mehmet Akif Street will begin in Lefkoşa
The Lefkoşa Municipality (LTB) has signed a contract for the second phase of sidewalk improvements on Mehmet Akif Caddesi with Arpalıklı Altyapı ve İhracat Ltd. The works will cover both sides of the road over a section 800 meters long — from the traffic light on Dereboyu to the roundabout where Mehmet Akif Caddesi turns into Osman Paşa Caddesi. The total investment amounts to 36,483,500 Turkish lira; funding is provided with the participation of the Turkish Republic Development and Economic Cooperation Office and the municipality's own funds. Completion is planned within six months.
