Power outage in Nicosia tomorrow for three hours due to technical works
The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced that on Tuesday, July 30, electricity will be temporarily cut in a part of the capital. The outage will last approximately three hours — from 9:00 to 12:00 — and will affect the area between the Netcon Sitesi residential complex and the land plots owned by Aytuğ Fazıl Plümer.
The outage is due to scheduled technical work within a project to supply government plots with three-phase electricity. Increased load on the grid requires intervention by technicians on the intermediate section between the Dikmen substation and the branches leading toward Dikmen–Gönyeli.
The works involve installation and connection of a new three-phase power transmission line. KIB-TEK emphasizes that these measures are necessary to improve the reliability of future power supply.
Residents and institutions in the affected area are advised to take necessary precautions, especially if there are medical devices or other sensitive equipment on the premises.
