Annual March in Colorful Socks to Be Held in Nicosia
On Friday, March 21, the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia will host its annual event, “Wear Socks and Come,” aimed at raising awareness for Down syndrome.
In a message from LTB, participants are encouraged to attend the event wearing bright, colorful socks. People in their vibrant socks will gather at Kugulu Park at 6:30 PM, then march toward the Old City. The event will continue with performances at Lefkeliler Square, behind Büyük Han.
The celebration will feature concerts by İzel Seylan, Karagöz Hacivat Gizli Hazine, LTB Ritm'orkestra, and a lively dance show by HipHop.
