4,000 Tons of Asphalt to be Laid in Nicosia
The Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB) has signed contracts for asphalt paving on city streets where infrastructure work has already been completed. In the first phase, 4,000 tons of asphalt will be laid over a total area of 40,000 square meters.
The contract for the supply and laying of asphalt was signed between LTB and Salih Köroğlu Construction Ltd. After completing the work within 90 calendar days, further paving projects will continue, with a tender for the second phase to be announced soon.
In total, 279.5 million TL will be allocated to the three largest infrastructure projects in Nicosia.
These projects include the development of Ortaköy’s infrastructure, with an investment of 87.5 million TL, the Hamitköy-Dumlupınar sewage project (156 million TL), and the old Nicosia sewage line project (36 million TL).
Additionally, work on restoring the old Haspolat wastewater treatment plant, with an investment of around 40 million TL, will commence soon.
