The TRNC Solidarity Association for People with Disabilities continues to hold traditional Friday iftars during the month of Ramadan, bringing together people with disabilities and their families at one table.

The gatherings take place at the organization's center, where hundreds of participants gather each week.

The president of the association, Ömer Suay, noted that such meetings help people feel the atmosphere of Ramadan — unity, mutual support, and solidarity.

According to him, since the beginning of the holy month, many families have already been able to participate in the iftars, where people not only break their fast together but also socialize in a warm and friendly environment.

Suay emphasized that shared dinners and prayers strengthen the sense of community and make Ramadan even more special.

"We shared a table with hundreds of families. Through sincere conversations, we felt the atmosphere of Ramadan together — its tranquility, unity, and blessing," he said.

According to the association president, the center's doors are open to families every week so they can spend the evening together and share the joy of the holiday.
