TRNC Cancels Tender Results for Central Bank Building Construction
The TRNC has canceled the results of the tender for the construction of the Central Bank building. A decision published in the Official Gazette stated that the tender announcement was issued in violation of legal requirements.
The contract for the construction was awarded to Tosunoğlu Ltd., but an investigation was launched following allegations of irregularities. Gerçek Construction and Contracting Co. Ltd., the claimant in the case, argued that the tender notice was incomplete and legally flawed.
After investigating the matter, the commission concluded that the tender process had not been conducted in accordance with the law. As a result, the competition was declared invalid, and the tender results were annulled due to non-compliance with legal provisions. The decision became legally binding after its publication in the Official Gazette.
